Özlem KORKMAZ is a tax expert with over 11 years of professional experience in tax law and tax practices. She has worked in the field of tax audit throughout her career.
Özlem completed her undergraduate education at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Business, Dokuz Eylül University.
After graduating from university for the first time in 2014, she began her tax audit career at one of the world’s Big Four accounting firms. She also has two years of experience in the Aegean Free Zone and specializes in free zone tax audits.
Özlem has used her academic background, combined with many years of practical experience, to specialize in the field of taxation.
Throughout her professional life, she has played an active role in the application and interpretation of tax legislation. While she has gained experience in various aspects of tax legislation, her area of expertise is full audit services; she has extensive experience in all processes related to full audit services, having provided these services to many leading domestic and international companies in their respective sectors.
For the past two years, she has been working at Nazalı as the Tax Service Manager. In this role, she and her team guide clients, who are well-known brands in the sector, in accordance with tax regulations, and are responsible for the planning, management, control, and monitoring of full certification processes.
