Serkan Erol, a graduate of Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences, specializes in customs and foreign trade in line with his experiences. Serkan Erol, who has worked as a Customs and Foreign Trade Inspector for thirteen years, has extensive knowledge and experience in customs and foreign trade law, customs disputes, post-control and customs inspections, trade facilitation (AEO, OKSB, etc.).
After completing his undergraduate education in 2002, he worked as an Assistant Revenue Specialist within the Revenue Administration. After being successful in the entrance exam, he became Deputy Customs Inspector on December 29, 2005, and was appointed as Customs Inspector in 2009 and as Chief Inspector of Customs and Trade in 2018.
Serkan Erol, who completed the MBA program at Suffolk University in the USA within the scope of an international master’s scholarship in 2012-2014. Within the framework of the Jean Monnet Scholarship he received in 2018-2019, he worked on EU Customs Legislation, Dutch Customs Administration and customs-private sector cooperation practices in the studies he carried out as a researcher at Leiden University. In this context, he still continues his doctoral studies in the field of Political Science and Public Administration.
At the same time, Serkan Erol, who has been working as a consultant and trainer in the private sector in the field of customs and foreign trade since 2018, speaks English well.
