Emre DURGUN

Emre Durgun’s practice focuses on commercial litigation with particular emphasis on local and cross border patent disputes involving life sciences, automotive, machinery and technology. He has been advising clients in litigation, arbitration, and mediation proceedings for around 20 years.
Durgun is an expert in case analysis, strategic planning, negotiations, and handling matters from inception through post trial. His practice comprises legal disputes in the areas of intellectual property law, corporate law, public tenders, supply contracts, construction projects, distribution contracts and debt collection. He is regularly recognised as a leading intellectual property expert by Chambers and Partners and Legal 500.
Prior to joining NAZALI, he worked as a partner in leading local and international law firms in İstanbul.
Durgun graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law and holds an LL.M. degree in International Trade Law from the University of Southampton. He is a lecturer on Pharmaceutical Patent Law and speaks in conferences on Construction of Patents and Discovery of Evidence in Turkish Law.
