Owing to her extensive experience in the field, Begüm Solak Ekler plays an active role in tax litigation and consultancy services. She is an expert in restructuring projects such as tax-free structuring of group companies, spin-off, mergers and acquisitions, capital/equity restructuring, and recovery of financial situations of companies in bankruptcy or technical bankruptcy. She is also highly trained in numerous tax areas particularly tax inspections, tax litigation, transfer pricing, and tax efficient structuring of companies domestically and internationally.  

She completed her middle and high school education in TED Ankara College and graduated from Bilkent University, Faculty of Law in 2008. She did internships in several leading law firms and public corporations (Prime Ministry Foreign Trade Secretariat, Central Bank, Istanbul Stock Exchange, and Competition Board). She joined Bar Association in 2009 and completed her master’s degree in law (LL.M.) in Law of Economics at Galatasaray University in 2012.

Prior to joining NAZALI she provided consultancy and litigation services on tax and corporate law to local and foreign investors in one of the four major tax audit and consultancy firms in Istanbul for over three years and then in Istanbul office of one of the leading international law firms in Turkey for two years. 

She has been working as tax advisor and lawyer in NAZALI since November 2014.
